Coya brings Peruvian dining to the City of London

If you find yourself in need of some ceviche and a pisco sour whilst wandering the streets of Mayfair then COYA has always been your safe bet – it has previously been crowned London’s ‘Best Restaurant of the Year’. But if you’re in the city, you haven’t been so lucky. Until now.

World-leading restaurant group, COYA is set to open a second London site at the start of May. Located in Bank’s new Angel Court development, the restaurant will bring the familiar Latin American vibe to a more corporate audience. Open day to night, COYA Angel Court will have a more buzzy bar than the original, making it a new go-to for after-work drinks. A DJ booth will see international names in charge of the soundtrack, with other fun features including a Pisco Lounge and Rum Round Table for group dining, in addition to two private dining rooms, one of which boasts its own private terrace.

Executive Chef Sanjay Dwivedi will be overseeing the menu’s seasonal dishes, which are inspired by a fusion of Asian, Peruvian and modern European cuisine. If a power lunch is on the agenda, you’ll want to opt for the express menu for the COYA experience in double-time.

Bespoke Peruvian trinkets will fill the vast 170-cover, 4,500 sq ft space, with the London-based designers, Sagrada, (The Arts Club, Sartoria) in charge of the look in the restaurant and bar. For something a little different, the Pisco Lounge will serve signature Latin American cocktails like the Pisco Sour and the Chilli Margarita.

Work lunches, work dinners, work drinks: COYA Angel Court has you covered.
