Healthy London dishes to enjoy this JanuaryWed 01 2018 | admin
Before we start, let’s make something clear: sadly, eating a goji berry won’t give anybody a six-pack and drinking one or two green smoothies isn’t going to remove all the toxins in your body. There’s nothing wrong with trying to keep fit however, or using the New Year as a starting point for your health kick. With that in mind, here’s our curated list of good-for-you food in London.
What: To help out anyone on a health kick, Asia de Cuba is launching a great value ‘healthy menu’ throughout the month. Chow down on dishes including chilli-rubbed tofu with black rice, black beans and roasted cauliflower, or steamed sea bass with truffle consommé.
Where:St Martins Lane Hotel, 45 St Martin’s Lane, WC2N 4HX
How much: £30 for three courses
What: Aubaine is going all out with its Veganuary menu. The purely plant-based offering includes the likes of beetroot and green apple tartare, a Portobello mushroom and black bean burger, and an organic chocolate and raspberry brownie. There’s even vegan wine.
Where: Various locations
How much: Two courses, £12.50
What: Farm Girl is big on the veggies (it’s in the name) and is perfect for January detoxing. Alongside its Instagram-friendly multi-coloured super lattes, you can also get your fix of a lunchtime staple, with Farm Girl’s vegan coconut version of a BLT.

What: These two Francesco Mazzei restaurants are offering tempting plant-based dishes throughout January. Go for the vegan tortelli with pumpkin and winter herbs, or tuck into the oozing vegan chocolate cake, which is almost too good to be true.

Where: Westminster Bridge Road, SE1 7PB
How much: Three courses, £29
What: Jean-Georges at The Connaught has got your next healthy breakfast covered with its range of breakfast shakes and bowls (which are available to take away if you’re short on time). They’re also very pretty and perfect Instagram fodder for your newly #zen feed.
