Pomona’s, a new 120 cover West Coast/Californian inspired, all day restaurant and bar will open fully on Thursday 8th of December 2016 in the heart of Notting Hill at the impressive Commander building, 47 Hereford Road, London W2 5AH.

Sundae Design Studio is responsible for the stunning interior of Pomona’s, taking inspiration from David Hockney’s 1970’s Malibu period. There is also a beautiful conservatory as well as a garden, both sure to come into their own next year.

Head honcho and Executive Chef Gareth Sanderson formerly at Hampshire’s The Thomas Lord, Druskos Namai Salt House (one of Vilnius’s top restaurants) and latterly at Le Butcher Group returns from The Baltics to London after extensively travelling America’s West Coast, including LA and San Francisco researching dishes for his launch menu at Pomona’s.

Dishes on the menu will include the likes of steak tartar, shredded kimchi and lardo toast, Kumototo/Blue Point oysters, cocktail sauce, horseradish, mignonette, crispy pork belly, mojo de ajo, smoked polenta and winter leaf salad and caramel croissant and prune pie with crème Anglais.

Pomona’s will be on soft launch for one week from the end of November with 50% off food only.  Soft launch will run firstly at dinner only from Wednesday 30th of November to Friday 2nd of December, 7pm to 10pm and then from 10am through to dinner (including weekend brunch) from Saturday 3rd of December through to Wednesday 7th of December.
