Working at Guinness Care

Guinness Care (founded in 2005 as Guinness Care and Support Ltd) is a charitable organisation and a subsidiary of The Guinness Partnership, one of the leading housing and care providers in England. Our vision is to improve people’s lives and create possibilities for them.

We specialise in services for older people and people with learning disabilities, helping them to live as independently, happily, and healthily as possible, and to encourage social connections in our communities.

" IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT PROVIDING GREAT CARE BUT IT’S ABOUT HAVING AN AMAZING CAREER. As the Resourcing Manager at Guinness Care I am so proud of the amazing work all our colleagues put in every day. The difference we are making to an person’s life is something you cannot put a value on. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality person-centred care, tailored to the individual’s needs. Working for a charitable organisation has been so refreshing to me and everyone is so passionate about what they do. We all work our hardest to achieve the very best results. To be successful within Guinness Care you need to be passionate about what you do and as Steve Jobs said; “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”"
Leah Winfield, Resourcing Manager

Others about us

When I first joined, I did not have any qualifications in Health and Social Care, but through Guinness I have completed my Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ. I started my journey with Guinness as a carer and I am now a senior carer. Without Guinness I would not have had the confidence to take on new challenges and push myself further.

Before joining Guinness Care, I was a call centre associate. I started looking for a new job because I wanted a role that was worthwhile and allowed me to give back. I’m glad that I chose to work with Guinness because I identify strongly with the company’s vision of supporting people to be independent. It was also a bonus to discover the variety of benefits that the company offers which makes me feel valued and supported.

I found that the support network around me has been amazing especially being new to the company. There is always someone on hand to guide me through something if I’m not sure.
