The Ninth is a neighbourhood French restaurant located on Charlotte Street - home to some of the best restaurants in Fitzrovia. Jun Tanaka’s first solo venture focuses on simple yet refined Mediterranean-style cooking and the best seasonal ingredients.

While all our dishes are designed for sharing, there’s absolutely no pressure for our guests to do so. The Ninth’s specialities include raw and cured dishes, chargrilled meat and fish, as well as beautiful vegetarian dishes that showcase the finest seasonal produce.
