Working at Busaba

Busaba opened in 1999 in Soho and ushered in a taste of exciting Thai style that London hadn’t seen before. Queues down the street quickly became the norm.

Fast forward 20 years and 11 restaurants, this still remains the norm for us, our guests come back time after time to get a taste of our delicious food cooked by the exceptional team of chefs and to receive amazing hospitality by our Front of House team.

At Busaba, family is everything and that is at the core of our ethos. Whether you want to become a Head Chef or General Manager, we will support your progression and can proudly say that 76% of all FOH management roles and 73% of BOH Sous Chef/Head Chef roles have been filled internally.

" I joined Busaba in 2013 and actually, it was my first job in the UK. I started as a runner and gradually worked my way up. Recently I got promoted to Operations Manager. I think Busaba has a very good training and succession plan for anyone who is dreaming of a career in hospitality. My favourite thing about Busaba is its amazing team who is very passionate about the food as well as Busaba values and providing excellent hospitality to each guest."
Kamil Raczek, Operations Manager

Others about us

I've started in Busaba 7 years ago, as a runner and through all these years I've been given all the opportunities to grow both personally and professionally, which lead me now to be a General Manager in one of our busiest branches. Busaba truly cares about his people and gives opportunities equally to everyone who wants to step up and make hospitality a career. What I love the most about Busaba is the fact that opportunities are given to everyone alongside development plans and tools for you to succeed and myself is a clear example of that. Busaba truly puts its people first, something I've noticed plenty of times during my years of service.
