Others about us

I started working at Caravan Kings Cross around 8 years ago, as I had just moved to London and was looking for something to start myself off. In all honesty I wasn’t planning to stay at Caravan for more than a year, however the team was fabulous and I also got promoted to a manager role and was very fond of the company. Few years later I found myself in a general manager position at the Exmouth’s Caravan, and then eventually took a step b ack to an assistant general manager role, to be able to do a part time course, and that’s my position at the moment! What keeps me here is our beautiful team and values of the company

I came to Caravan in 2019 after I graduated from Central Saint Martins and had spent the summer doing festival set design. Half the week I was living on site at festivals in tents and the other half sofa surfing whilst doing various jobs in pubs, working for beekeepers and other freelancing. As the season came to an end it was time to establish afooting in London properly. I adore people and teaching and wanted to be as close as possible to the hive of activity in Kings Cross. The Guardian is around the corner, Google's over the road, Thomas Heatherwick designed all of Coal Drops yard and Caravan's right under the best fashion school in the world, to name drop a few. I started on the floor serving customers, I've worked in a few places around London and Caravan has this indescribable zest in the air for good times that's unlike anywhere else I've worked before. Waiting on tables is a bit of an art, you hold the reigns to other peoples memories and experiences which are kind of invaluable. I am now one of the managers, looking after a brilliant team who in turn spread those good vibes. I work at Caravan for the people.

So I started at Caravan 2 years ago as waiter and they helped me grown so much and really looked after me, they gave me so much opportunities that nowhere else ever gave me! Now I help them with all the training for new members! And doesn’t stop there, Many other opportunities still have to come! They really know what is the true meaning of LOVE!
