Loungers is a substantial and growing operator in the UK hospitality sector. As of October 2022, Loungers operates 206 sites in England and Wales across two distinct but complementary brands, Lounge and Cosy Club.

At Lounge, we have a very simple objective, that runs through all we do. We call it 'the Cause': Our Lounge is a home from home, offering delicious food and drinks, all day, on your doorstep. We exist to bring people together and our unique atmosphere changes hour by hour with each new wave of customers. We are proud of our Lounge and its community and our aim is simple: every customer leaves happy.

When I was made redundant earlier this year I decided to take my time and find a company that shared my values. Then I found The Loungers and it has changed everything! Every business has its challenges but the people you work with, and for, make the difference. From the very start it was clear that the company really focuses on its employees – from the recruitment process to my training and beyond, I’ve been with great people every step of the way. Senior managers take a genuine interest in your development and the “hands-on” approach from them when needed is something I’d never experienced before, not to mention how our area pulls together to help each other whenever needed. I’ve been at Morello Lounge for eight months now. It’s been challenging at times, but we’ve made a successful start, and I am very proud of my Lounge.
