This is a great job for someone who is a very good cook, who is happy to help with housekeeping and laundry (you will be helping the daily cleaner), and who would like to work for a very nice couple living in a beautiful Kensington home.
The couple have grown up children who are living away from home at university but who do come to stay when they are on holiday. They do not need 'looking after' but you must be someone who is friendly and happy to sometimes have older children in the house.
The role would be to cook supper for the couple (and the children when they are home), and sometimes lunch for the lady of the house, make sure the house is clean and beautifully presented, occasionally help with laundry and you must know how to look after fine fabrics and clothes, food and some household shopping and generally making sure that everything runs smoothly.
They like a variety of food including British and European, with the occasional treat/dessert, and eat out at the top restaurants. Although they are not looking for 'Gordon Ramsey' they are looking for someone who is a very good cook, who can prepare and present food very well, and is happy to cook for small dinner parties once or twice a month as well as food for the couple and sometimes their family during the week.
It is essential that you have worked as a Cook Housekeeper in a similar role in a private house for at least 5 years with suitable references. You must speak very good English, be able to cook to dinner party standard and be happy to help the daily cleaner keep the house clean and well presented.
This is a Monday to Friday job and your accommodation is a separate one bedroom flat with your own front door. They are looking for a very good and experienced person and are willing to pay a top salary.
