Night Security Officer – Gatehouse Based
📍 Location: Aberdare
🕔 Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off (17:30 – 05:30)
💷 Pay Rate: £13.36 per hour
🗓 Pay Frequency: Monthly
Role Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Night Security Officer to join our team at a site in Aberdare. This is a gatehouse-based role with additional responsibilities across the site during night hours.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Controlling site access and egress
✅ Operating and monitoring CCTV systems
✅ Completing regular patrols of the site
✅ Maintaining accurate logs and records
✅ Dealing with visitors, drivers, and contractors professionally
✅ Responding appropriately to incidents and alarms
✅ Carrying out general gatehouse duties
Requirements
✔ Valid SIA Licence (essential)
✔ Previous security or gatehouse experience preferred
✔ Strong communication and observational skills
✔ Ability to work independently during night shifts
✔ Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
✔ Basic IT skills for logging and reporting
