But without QEC, the industry’s defining technical challenge, such breakthroughs can never be achieved. Riverlane is the world leader in QEC technology. QEC is a complex problem that requires a range of skills, talent and passion.

Having raised more than $125M in funding to date to accelerate our cutting-edge R&D in quantum error correction (QEC), Riverlane partners with many of the world’s leading quantum hardware providers and government agencies to make fault tolerant quantum computing a reality. We’re making remarkable progress and growing fast.

About the role

Deltaflow is Riverlane’s flagship QEC product. As Senior Product Manager for the Deltaflow product line, you’ll help shape how deep quantum error‑correction research becomes products that customers can use, trust and build on.

You’ll sit at the centre of Riverlane’s product work, spending time with customers and partners to understand how they use, and want to use, Deltaflow, and working closely with researchers and engineers to turn into clear product direction. You’ll use customer insight, product data and market developments to guide priorities and ensure we focus on solving the problems that matter most.

Alongside this, you’ll define and evolve Deltaflow’s product strategy and roadmap, balancing long‑term ambition with what’s technically and commercially achievable. You’ll help align teams across research, engineering, business development and marketing, navigate trade‑offs, and adapt plans as new insights and opportunities emerge.

You’ll also play an active role in bringing Deltaflow to market: supporting launches, joining customer conversations, and helping shape the materials that explain what Deltaflow can do and why it matters. Throughout, you’ll stay close to delivery, ensuring product plans remain grounded in reality and responsive to change.

What you will do

In practice, this includes:

  • Engaging directly with customers, partners and end users to gather insight and feedback
  • Defining and communicating product vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Analysing competitors, alternatives and market developments
  • Working cross‑functionally to align priorities and guide trade‑offs
  • Supporting go‑to‑market activity, customer calls and product launches
  • Developing product collateral such as presentations, benchmarks and white papers

What we need

  • Experience working as a Product Manager in a B2B context (around 3+ years), or in a closely related role where you’ve owned product direction and prioritisation
  • Experience in a deep‑tech environment, where problems are complex and not everything is fully specified upfront
  • An undergraduate degree in engineering or science, or equivalent practical experience, giving you confidence engaging with technical teams and customers
  • A strong ability to understand customer problems and translate them into clear product strategy, priorities and trade‑offs
  • Comfort working cross‑functionally, collaborating closely with research, engineering, business development and marketing
  • Willingness to go technically deep when needed, understanding product capabilities, limitations and real‑world usage
  • Confidence building alignment and influencing decisions
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change, adapting direction as new insights or opportunities appear
  • Clear, thoughtful communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
  • A proactive mindset where you spot opportunities and take responsibility for moving things forward

Even better if you have

  • Some experience in quantum computing
  •  An understanding of both hardware and software products and the differences in priorities and challenges between them
