As a Senior Web Analyst within our Digital Operations team, you’ll shape how we understand, measure, and improve performance across George.com. This is a rare opportunity to build our web analytics approach from the ground up, defining what great looks like, setting best in class ways of working, and influencing how we invest in our digital platform.

Partnering closely with teams across Digital Operations and the wider George business, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that elevates the customer experience and drives commercial growth. Reporting into the Head of Digital Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our online shopping journey.

This role requires on-site presence at Asda House in Leeds three days per week. We’re really looking forward to having you around!

What you’ll do

  • Lead web analytics for the George website, understanding customer journeys, identifying friction points, and driving continuous improvement across the end to end experience.
  • Champion customer experience by ensuring our online shopping journey is seamless, intuitive, and commercially effective.
  • Transform data into decisions, using large, complex datasets to surface insights that shape priorities, influence stakeholders, and guide investment in our digital platform.
  • Define measurement frameworks from scratch, establishing how we track performance and embedding best practice analytics across the team.
  • Work cross functionally with product, UX, trading, and technology teams to ensure insight is understood, acted upon, and used to drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of George.com, helping us understand what matters most to customers and where we can grow.

What You’ll Bring:

  • You’re an experienced web analytics specialist with a strong track record of turning data into action.
  • You’ve worked with tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, and you’re confident choosing the right approach for the insight needed.
  • You ideally bring experience from fashion or home retail, but you’re just as welcome if you’ve gained your skills in other fast paced digital environments.
  • You’re proactive, curious, and excited by the chance to build something new, defining how we measure success and shaping the role as you grow.
  • You’re a great collaborator who can simplify complexity, influence senior stakeholders, and bring people with you.
  • You’re passionate about improving the customer experience and driving commercial performance through insight.
