Our Client, a group of chartered accountants are seeking a Tax Senior to join their team in London. You will assist the group in the review and preparation of company, business and personal returns together with accompanying accounts and all necessary reporting documents.
The successful candidate will be a qualified CTA or qualified by experience, they will also have experience in both corporate and personal tax is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
- Prepare personal tax returns
- Review junior staff's completion of personal self-assessment tax returns
- Provide guidance, training and support to junior staff Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
- Assist the partners with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI when required
- Client, Government department and third party liaison by post, phone and e-mail in accordance with the client’s standards.
Key Skills and attributes:
- Ideally 3-5 years' corporation tax experience within an accountancy practice
- CA/ACA /ACCA and/or ATT qualified. Full study support will be provided towards further relevant Tax qualifications
- Previous experience of managing a client portfolio would be preferred but not essential
- An excellent grounding in dealing with both Personal Tax issues in a practice environment.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing, speaking and meeting clients
