Our Senior Health Care Assistants play an important and highly visible role in overseeing and delivering exceptional levels of care to our residents.
With line management responsibility for a team of Care Assistants, you will work with trained Nurses to provide the Care Team with clear direction, development and support to carry out their day to day tasks. As Senior Health Care Assistant you’ll also be pivotal in delivering care plans, providing companionship, and personal care for residents.
Beechwood Grove care home offers 60 private en-suite rooms in a luxurious purpose-built care home in Eastbourne, East Sussex. With state-of-the-art features and facilities, we provide the very best levels of care for everyone who stays with us.
What we look for:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a working knowledge of dementia and how it impacts on individuals, and previous experience of delivering care along with a care-related qualification including Medication Administration is essential.
An understanding of others (colleagues and residents) with a people-focused approach.
The ability to support colleagues, and a positive can-do attitude.
Motivation to go above and beyond and passion for what you achieve on a day to day basis, in order to provide the best possible service to residents.
A willingness to learn and grow is crucial, accompanied by a sense of challenge and accountability for your work/contributions to improving lives.
