The Festival of Inclusion in Hospitality, Travel and Leisure

Join us in celebrating diversity at the Festival of Inclusion! Taking place 12 – 13th May 2021.

Placed is proud to support WiHTL (Women in Hospitality, Travel and Leisure)’s upcoming Festival of Inclusion! The virtual event is the first of its kind and will celebrate diversity across the Hospitality, Travel and Leisure industries.

Taking part over two days, 12-13 May 2021, over 60 key speakers will present, discuss, share insights, best practices, case studies, stories across the whole breadth of the diversity, inclusion and belonging spectrum.

The conversations will range from gender to race and ethnicity, from LGBTQ+ to social mobility, from age to disability and wellbeing. The speakers include People Officers, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officers, D&I leading experts, and people who are truly passionate about diversity and inclusion.

The objective of the Festival is to celebrate diversity across the industry, showcase great examples of tangible initiatives that have a positive impact, raise awareness of the benefits of inclusive cultures from an employees’ and customers’ perspective and the perils of lack of diversity, inspire people whatever their background or circumstances to join and progress within the Hospitality, Travel and Leisure industry.

If you work within the Hospitality, Travel and Leisure sectors or are interested in pursuing a work within these fields, the festival is a great opportunity to gain inspiration and really learn from leading professionals on how you can progress within the industry, as well as network.

Tickets are free for employees of WiHTL Member organisations (see if your company is on this list) and those who are unemployed or full-time students who are looking to work in the hospitality, travel or leisure sector.
